Student must have a current book – AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider Manual (2020 CPR & ECC Guidelines – located on back of cover). This book is REQUIRED for the class.
Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) Required!
Student must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) prior to class. A score of 70% or higher is necessary to pass. Print and bring Certificate of Completion and Score Report to class.

- The AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course is designed for pediatricians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, emergency physicians, and other healthcare providers who care for infants and children. The PALS Provider Course teaches participants:

- To recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest
- Strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children
- Skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock, or cardiopulmonary arrest

BLS Provider Add-On
The BLS Provider Class can be added-on to the PALS Provider class during your registration process. This allows you to get both AHA cards the same day while only completing the additional BLS Provider material not covered in the PALS Class–BLS written exam and Adult skills testing. A good bargain.
CEs Available
The CPR Lady Training Center has been accredited as an Authorized Provider to offer CEs to Dentists (DDS or DMD), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Paramedics (Medic), Pharmacists (RPh), Physicians (MD), Physician Assistants (PA), Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP or RT), Registered Nurses (RN) and Nurse Practitioners (NP)
Students must request CEs from The CPR Lady at the time of class, state their profession, give their license number, and sign the CE Roster. CEs cannot be issued after the class is completed and closed.
The CPR Lady provides American Heart Association CPR BLS Provider and Instructor certifications and renewals throughout Southern California including Orange County, LA County, San Diego County, and Inland Empire, as well as, San Luis Obispo County, Santa Barbara County, Sacramento County and the San Francisco Bay Area. The CPR Lady is authorized to issue AHA cards in California, Arizona and Nevada.
