Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) Required!
Student must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) prior to class. A score of 70% or higher is necessary to pass. Print PSA SCORE REPORT and bring to Skills Session.
HeartCode Certificate of Completion Required!
Student must complete the online course prior to class. Print HEARTCODE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION and bring to Skills Session.

The HeartCode PALS Online Course includes an online eBook, so there is no need to purchase book separately. Student has access to eBook for 24 months.
Attend Scheduled Skills Session
After completing the HeartCode PALS Online Course and printing the HeartCode Certificate of Completion and Precourse Self-Assessment Score Report, Student then attends the scheduled Skills Session and receives a PALS Provider eCard that is valid for two years.
HeartCode PALS Online
The HeartCode PALS Online Course is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses adaptive learning technology to allow learners to acquire and demonstrate Pediatric Advanced Life Support skills using a personalized learning path that adapts in real time to a learner’s performance. The program is designed for healthcare professionals who need Pediatric Advanced Life Support training for their clinical duties. Utilizing a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, Cognitive Assessment Activities, illustrations, knowledge checks and interactive activities, this program teaches PALS knowledge and skills. This method of learning provides training consistency and adaptability to different learning styles. Students can work at their own pace applying their knowledge to real-time decision making. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each knowledge check and each Cognitive Assessment Activity.

- Child CPR with AED Skills Testing
- Infant CPR Skills Testing
- Management of respiratory emergencies
- IO access
- Must perform as team leader for one cardiac core case testing scenario and one respiratory or shock core case testing scenario

CEs Available!
Student receives CEs from BOTH The CPR Lady Training Center and American Heart Association depending on profession.
The CPR Lady Training Center has been accredited as an Authorized Provider to offer CEs to Dentists (DDS or DMD), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Paramedics (Medic), Pharmacists (RPh), Physician Assistants (PA), Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP or RT), Registered Nurses (RN) and Nurse Practitioners (NP). Students must request CEs from The CPR Lady at the time of class, state their profession, give their license number, and sign the CE Roster. CEs cannot be issued after the class is completed and closed.
The American Heart Association is authorized to offer Continuing Medical Education Accreditation to Physicians and Physician Assistants, AANP Credit Acceptance Statement to Nurse Practitioners, Continuing Education Accreditation to Nurses, Continuing Education Accreditation to Pharmacists, Continuing Education Accreditation to Emergency Medical Services for the online portion of course. Credits are claimed on the AHA website but there are time limits of 30 days to 6 months depending on accrediting agency.
The CPR Lady provides American Heart Association CPR BLS Provider and Instructor certifications and renewals throughout Southern California including Orange County, LA County, San Diego County, and Inland Empire, as well as, San Luis Obispo County, Santa Barbara County, Sacramento County and the San Francisco Bay Area. The CPR Lady is authorized to issue AHA cards in California, Arizona and Nevada.
