ACLS Provider AHA Preferred Course

PROVIDER COURSE: Blended learning with ½ ONLINE preparation and ½ CLASSROOM skills. This is AHA’s Preferred Course for Experienced Providers. This ACLS Provider Course includes Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work ONLINE that Student must complete before class followed by the CLASSROOM instruction and skills sign-off with an AHA Instructor.

Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) and Precourse Work Required!
All Students must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment and the Precourse Work ONLINE prior to class. Students will bring the PSA Score Report and the Certificate of Completion to class. The Certificate is called “Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Precourse Preparation.”

Course Length

• Prior to class, the ACLS ONLINE Course is about 4.0 hours.
• The ACLS Course is about 3 hours in the classroom.

Course Content for Experienced Providers

ONLINE Preparation Prior to Class:

• • • Complete the Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) and the Precourse Work ONLINE
    • Print and bring to class:
    1. PSA Score Report
    2. Certificate of Completion called ” Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Precourse Preparation.”

• ACLS Adult BLS Skills Testing
• Airway Management
• MegaCode-Bradycardia
• MegaCode-Tachycardia
• ACLS Written Exam

CEs Available!
Student receives CEs from BOTH The CPR Lady Training Center and American Heart Association depending on profession.

The CPR Lady Training Center has been accredited as an Authorized Provider to offer CEs to Dentists (DDS or DMD), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Paramedics (Medic), Pharmacists (RPh), Physicians (MD), Physician Assistants (PA), Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP or RT), Registered Nurses (RN) and Nurse Practitioners (NP). Students must request CEs from The CPR Lady at the time of class, state their profession, give their license number, and sign the CE Roster. CEs cannot be issued after the class is completed and closed.

The American Heart Association is authorized to offer Continuing Medical Education Accreditation to Physicians and Physician Assistants, AANP Credit Acceptance Statement to Nurse Practitioners, Continuing Education Accreditation to Nurses, Continuing Education Accreditation to Pharmacists, Continuing Education Accreditation to Emergency Medical Services for the online portion of course. Credits are claimed on the AHA website but there are time limits of 30 days to 6 months depending on accrediting agency.
